German Steel Metallurgy
Every tool is forged from premium AISI 420/440 stainless steel. Vacuum heat treatment ensures a calibrated hardness rating of HRC 50–55 for superior tensile strength, spring elasticity, and corrosion resistance during repeated sterilization cycles.
Tungsten Carbide (TC) Technology
For high-wear cutting edges and clamping surfaces, we braze tungsten carbide inserts into scissor blades and needle holder jaws. Identifiable by gold-plated ring handles, TC instruments offer exceptional durability and secure grip.
Passivation & Surface Finish
Automated chemical passivation removes free iron from surface layers, creating a protective chromium oxide barrier. Offered in satin matte to reduce OR glare, polished mirror finish, or anti-glare titanium coating.
